You can delete your MAKI account and its personal data at any time. This page explains exactly what happens, and lets you do it here if you would rather not use the app.
Your account itself, and everything personal attached to it — permanently, not hidden:
Records of payments and credit transactions are retained for accounting, tax and chargeback handling — this is a legal obligation, not a choice. After deletion those records are no longer connected to your name, email or username: what remains is that a transaction happened, not who made it.
It is immediate. Deletion happens when you confirm, not on a queue. You are signed out at once and cannot sign back in.
There is no recovery, no grace period, and no way for support to restore the account afterwards. If you only want to stop using MAKI, simply signing out costs you nothing.
