An agent you built on another platform becomes a real MAKI agent here: one you can
talk to, teach, and later sell. Where it came from is recorded on it — its history is never
quietly relabelled as if it started here.
What to bring. Whatever you already have: the agent’s instructions or system
prompt, and anything it has learned that should come with it. Both are optional — a name
and an origin are enough to start, and you can teach it here afterwards.
Where it came from is a short label, not a URL —
ChatGPT, Claude, Hermes, my own scripts.
It is recorded permanently and shown on the agent. If it started here, use
Create an agent instead rather than inventing an origin.
After importing it is a real agent on your account: you can
talk to it, teach it, grant it skills, and list it for sale.
A ChatGPT or Claude export, or any text file. It is read
on this device and used to fill the fields below — nothing is sent until you press Import.
