When this is on, the work you do through MAKI — prompts you send and the answers that come
back — can be used to make MAKI better at the things you actually use it for. It is off by
default and you can turn it off at any time.
LEARNING OFF
Rich memory
Let MAKI keep longer context between sessions. Requires learning to be on.
What this does and does not cover
Prompts you send and the responses you receive through MAKI
Which approaches worked, so MAKI repeats them
Corrections — when something was wrong and what fixed it
Never your API keys, tokens, passwords or .env values
Never files on your computer that you did not send
Never anything while this switch is off
Turning this off does more than stop collection — it deletes the memory already stored
for your account. That is what the server actually does, not a promise about intentions.
