We collect your email, username, and hashed password when you register. During use, we collect chat messages, node usage data (hours, hardware tier), onboarding progress, credits earned, and referral activity.
To provide the platform, improve MAKI's AI, calculate node rewards, send transactional emails, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
When you run the MAKI node, we collect hardware info (CPU, RAM, GPU) to assign your tier and calculate your contribution. Conversations processed through your node are used for AI improvement and are not linked to your identity in training pipelines.
Data is stored on EU servers (Hetzner, Germany/Finland) with HTTPS/TLS encryption and hashed passwords.
